Help can't figure out what to do!!?? I downloaded Limwire with no problems and enjoyed using it (for the two days I got to use it) I was very proud that I downloaded it myself being a computer idiot! anyway my husband deleted the desktop icons and I don't know what else. I did a search for limewire and found the rest of the files and tried to open it from there, no luck. Went to add/remove programs - nothing their either and nothing under "programs" either. I deleted what i could and tried to start again and it keeps saying i'm running it in my systems tray (where is that?) it proceeds to tell me to right click on the icon and click "exit" *sigh* I don't get the option to exit! So now I can't run limewire and can't un-install it and can't download! Any ideas?? Remember i'm not computer literate. It took me 20 mins just to figure out how to work this thread thing! |

fixed it! Well, Me the computer idiot fixed the problem. I just followed fixes for limewire. It took me awhile, and the java option on the fixes and the java options on the web page didn't match, but I took a punt and picked the right one. I updated my java and it just seemed to work. So Thanks Lord of the Rings! Thanks for taking the time to put that info up there!. |
