Hi,
I have lw pro and was working perfectly! Until that is did a system restore, found it wasnt working, so did undo restore, and still wont work. Wether i click on shortcut or icon in "all programms" wont do anything at all, timer shows for about half a second and nothing, no start up or anything. Tried uninstalling and re-installing still nothing, also jave updated but nothing. Please help!!

Did you use the online or offline installers for Java & LW?
Try deleting the preferences folder when LW's closed (points 2 & 3 below) or change compatibility (point 5)

If that's no help, try reinstalling Java again & make sure to use the offline installer (point 1 above). Go to add/remove programs & remove the previous Java version before you install the new one.
Once Java's installed, reinstall LW using it's offline installer.
