I had purchased PRO and I still have the receipt, however when I reformatted my harddrive and tried to re-download it from Limewire's site, it said that it couldn't validate the e-mail address even though it was that specific e-mail that the receipt was sent to...and the only e-mail that I use.

As good as a program as limewire is, it's support system is so lame it is scary.
When you buy pro, it says "One Time" payment of 18.99. then when you want to upgrade it says, sorry never heard of you.
Then when you try to contact these stupid lamers, they say sorry, you can't contact us, because you do not exist!!!!
They make microsoft look like good guys. Gawd, get a grip on life Limevapourware. I have "upgraded" once before and it went from pro to basic!
Someone should look up embarrassing and send the definition to these wankers.
Maybe bearshare would not be too bad........

I always bookmark my pro download page. It warned me up to one month before my pro finished that the period of pro was nearing an end. And offered for renewal at a discount amount.

Sorry to hear you had a sour experience, but checking your previous posts on this forum, you seem to have a sour attitude as a person. Shooting down members who respond to you without even reading what they are telling you. I think you should wake up to yourself yeawhoever. You obviously didn't read the Pro page & conditions at all & speak out of total ignoramity & stupidity & arrogance. I found Pro support to be very good. But they will NOT respond to questions about copyright infringement or warez or anything else illegal. That is not what LimeWire is about. It is not what it was designed for. If you don't like it then rack off & go to bearshare (which btw is now a controlled program which cannot download copyright material.) It seems the only reason you 'yeawhoever' came to this forum was to flame & spam rubbish.
