![]() I am having serious Java and Lime wire issues. I have been trying to download Limewire for four hours now and still not successful. I deleted all Javas and Limewires. rebooted. tried to download Java (offline), rebooted. downloaded Limewire (offline) and it gets to the part where it is looking or downloading Java and then stops saying i have a previous copy (Java)installed and i need to remove it. So i am stuck! I removed everything again and tried to just download the Limewire itself and still not working. I am almost ready to give up with Limewire. I have alos tried using Internet explorer instead of Aol. Still not successful! I am running Windows XP. Help! or should i just throw in the towel? |

![]() No we'll get you up and running one way or another ![]() THis thread has some helpful information. I'm afraid I'm not a Windows user so it makes little sense to me, but you may find some registry entries for Java soft and these need to be removed. This is mentioned several times in the thread. http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jsp...2999&tstart=90 |
