![]() i have completely deleted my old lime wire system and have been trying to download the new lime wire win version but have utterly failed. a message saying that my old lime wire is still running and it cant download until i exit it. as i said my old lime wire is completely deleted. so if anyone has a fix please let me know |

![]() Open Task Manager (ctrl-alt-del) & check if any LW process is running. If it is, end the process. Delete LW's preferences folder (points 2 & 3 below - if you've only used very recent versions, point 3 should be enough...if you've used older versions, check both locations). Fixes for LimeWire Reboot your computer. Now try reinstalling LW again. |
