![]() Try this: Reinstall Java, use the JRE offline installer & remove your current version of Java before you install the new one. See point 1 below Fixes for LimeWire Now delete LW's preferences folder. Make sure LW's properly closed (check in Task Manager) first. That's points 2 & 3 above. If you've only used a recent version of LW, the point 3 location should be all you'll have. But if you've used older versions in the past, there could be a folder in point 2's location as well. Now reinstall LW & make sure to use the offline installer (not the recommended one). No need to uninstall your first version, it will automatically uninstall when you install a new version.
