Default deleting limewire

I want the limewire gone from my computer completely but I am unable due to the "shared filed" people are still using. I removed it but cannot get it gone due to this issue. Anyone know how to stop the sharing of files after I removed/uninstalled the program? Thanks

Default This Might Work...

If you are using Windows XP, click Start, click Run, type in Shared and click OK. Then at the top, click the Up button. It is a folder with a green up arrow at the top. Then click on Shared. Then press delete. Clcik Yes. You're done.

Does whatever error message you get have more detail than that?
Can you quote it exactly?

Thumbs up easiest way....

Have you got a firewall? BLOCK IT!!!! If you have the limewire program on your computer you can go to options into sharing and uncheck the shared file. But the easiest way is to block it. I have it on limewire, and block it when not in use so it doesnt disrupt my computer functioning. When I use it, I unblock it, get what I want then block it again using my firewall. best of both worlds. you should delete Limeshop from your programs and run a free adware removal program. run a search for everything 'lime' and delete. then restart your computer. if all else fails use your firewall.
