Limewire starts on its own I just upgraded from 4.12.3 to 4.12.6 and Limewire has begun to start on it's own. I don't mean starting on start up, I mean I X out of limewire and 2-4 minutes later it starts again. I tried unchecking the start limewire on startup box, which of coarse didn't work, and then I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it but it still didn't work. I uninstalled it again, but it still tried to start run limewire. It didn't work mind you, I got an error message saying that one or more of the necessary files is invalid. If someone could tell me how to get the program to work properly again I'd be really grateful. |

It sounds like you have a virus in there somewhere...Try this fix, this should stop limewire popping up all the time... http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showpo...&postcount=141
