![]() I have been using Limewire for a while and its been fine. I recently downloaded iTunes and the next time I opened Limewire and tried to download videos a box came up saying "LimeWire was unable to open a necessary file because another program has locked the file. LimeWire may act unexpectedly until this file is released". After this its now become difficult to download videos (slow and downloads abort saying "need more sources"), though songs are fine. What does this all mean and what can I do about this locked file?? Should I uninstall and then install Limewire again?? Thanks very very much R ___________________________ Edited to comply with the House Rules. Multiple copies of the same post will not be tolerated. ![]() You might have downloaded a virus what size was it when you downloaded anything less than 1,000kb is most likely a worm or virus but there are other files that might be bigger try runing a virus scaner try at download.com Avg Free it works great. |
