Anybody....somebody....please Help!!!!(LW won't start)

There are NO WORDS I can use to describe how I am feeling at the moment as I sit here and kill myself trying to download this crappy *** program!!!! Thing is... I used to have it on my comp (The Basic Version) and it worked JUST FINE! But I accidentally uninstalled it. Then when I went back to the site to get it back... something called LimeWire 4.12. blah blah is now available... and I have NO IDEA if that is the same program I downloaded last time or not. My guess is... it ISNT.

Otherwise it would be working and I wouldnt be sitting here like a jackass asking for help from you fine people.... anyways. If anyone can PLEASE explain to me why everytime I download it it WONT START UP.... GRRRRRRRRR.... I would REALLY appreciate it. I am so frickin driving myself crazy with stupidity right now.... blahhhhhhhh mrrrrrrrrrrrrr (And yes! I have tried uninstalling the program several times plus deleting ANYTHING that has to do with it by looking for key word LIMEWIRE in search on my comp.) But no matter how many times I reinstall it... IT JUST DOESNT WANT TO RUN!!!!!
PLEASE....HELP THIS POOR CRAZY WOMAN!!!!

Hi. Please don't get mad at LimeWire. Uninstall LimeWire. And go to java.com and install java. After it finished installing go to limewire.com and download it again. Reply back to tell us how it goes. And please remove your email. Thank you.

When you do reinstall Java & LW, make sure to use the offline installers. For Java, use the JRE offline installer & remove your current Java version before you install the new one;)

Before you reinstall LW, delete LW's preferences folder. See point 3 below. If you've used much older versions of LW in the past, there might be a prefs folder in point 2's location as well...check both.
