I think we need to start fresh....

Go to Start > All Programs > Limewire > Uninstaller...Now uninstall Limewire...
Then
Go to add/remove programs find Java and uninstall that...

Now re-install the JRE offline version of Java....(It's the 5th one down)
http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index_jdk5.jsp
Then
Re-install Limewire and make sure you use the offline installer
http://www.limewire.com/english/cont...oadfree2.shtml

Hopefully that will get things up and running for you....

Now to start downloading check this...Tools > Options > Searching > License warning and make sure the box is not ticked and select apply....

Don't worry to much if the limewire player doesn't work, you can use what ever player you want...
Go to your shared folder (outside of Limewire) you will find this folder by clicking on one of your files in your LW library and clicking explore...

Right click on one of your MP3 files
Select open with
Select choose program
select the player you want
and tick the box that says always use this program to open this file type
Select OK
