LW 4.12.11 will not open error- save folder not valid
 

I downloaded LW 4.12.11 and it downloaded fine. I had a previous Lw that I had uninstalled and in that one I changed the name of my shared folder to I believe Limewire shared; in Limewire under program files, but i can't remember. Now when I try to open the newly downloaded LW an ERROR box opens and says

Your save folder is not valid. It may have been deleted, you may not have permission to write it, or there may be another problem. with an OK box-- only I can not click the ok, because its locked; nothing happens; the only way to shut the program down is through task manager applications.

how do i fix this shared folder location problem.

I close it using task manager and processes it does not appear in applications sorry

Delete LW's preferences folder when LW's closed. See point 3 below (also point 2, if you've used older LW versions in the past).
Fixes for LimeWire

Deleting that folder will kill all settings within options, you'll have to go back thru & reset things afterwards.

where do I find the LW preferences folder

my LW is located in program files/ Limewire

inside my Limewire folder I do not find a prefernces folder

inside my limewire under program files I find a root folder, .Network Share folder and an Incomplete folder

Error fixed new problem
 

LW installed fine now and opens, Now my mouse buttons do not work on the application. I can not click on anything, not even to exit the program.

OH and thank you for the previous help
