Need Help(LW keeps popping up) ok, so Limewaire was acting up this morning and wouldn't stop starting up without me even opening it. every time I would disconnect and close it down it would open right back up. my internet explorer wouldn't open while it was doing that, so I got frustrated and uninstalled it. Now I keep getting error messages popping up every few minutes saying " a necessary file is invalid...caused by corrupt installation...please download and re install limewire" well I tried that and it keeps aborting installation because it says that a previous version of limewire is active, please shut it down and retry. AUGH! I've tried everything I can think of, there is NO limewire icon in the system tray, it's not even listed in my programs! does anybody know how to locate this file that keeps trying to connect so that I can get RID if it?!?! |
