Default Lime wire turns on after I turn it off??? Please Help

I had to do a reboot on my computer and had to reinstall limewire well doing so everytime I turn it on and then done using it I close limewire but then a minute or two later it turns back on without me clicking anything?

is there some kind of setting that is enabled that i need to turn off or is this a ghost lol? anyway is someone would be so kind to help me out. thanks

On my computer, clicking the "X" doesn't shut down LW, it only closes the window. If this is what yours is doing, go to the bottom right of the screen where it shows the running programs, right click on the LW icon, and choose eexit. That will end the program.

Niecee, Thanks for the reply, it happens when I shut off the running icon on the bottom right corner as well! This is the first time this has happened to me with LW. do you know if there is a setting or something that needs to be turned off?

Default Cannot delete limewire help please

I had to uninstall limewire because it kept turning on as soon as I would trun it off so when I went to reinstall it said I could not becuase I had one running which I didnt. so I did a search to delete the files and it wont let me delete the files? please help

Omgosh ... Thats the same problem I am having!
I am trying to get rid of it as of this instant and it will not go away because its still "running"! :S
I am trying to close it .. its in the rightbottom corner where the time is and it won't close ...

I closed it on the bottome corner and then restarted my computer and then did a search and found all the files and folders and erased them that way. finally worked good luck

If Limewire keeps starting on its own, you may be infected with a virus...see #4
