General queation about limewire (legal issue) Hello, i just started using lime wire. I only downloaded one song but in the license column there was no picture. I did another search and there also wasn't a picture. Does this mean i shouldn't download that song? would that be a bad idea to do so? i just want to do things legally, i don't want to get in trouble. Thanks |

hmmm??? OK, well everything that I have searched for music wise have not had anything in the licence column. I clicked on one of the downloads and it says something like Limewire could not find a license for this, do you still want to download? What does this mean? Should i not download these files and why is it that everything i have searched for has been like this? |

That message you are getting is telling you that the file you want to download is copyrighted and it's up to you whether you want to go ahead and download it or not... The downloading of copyrighted files being against the law can vary depending on where you live... Google your laws... ie...if you are in the US, search... copyright laws for the US
