Windows Problems with installing LimeWire or WireShare for Windows users |

![]() Did you know this? Yesterday -late last night local time - I searched for something in the programs section of limewire and to my disgust, I saw that several people are uploading - for anyone to download - your Pro version. I just checked again, by searching in "programs" - this time for "limewire pro" - and the title note for one result even says "works perfectly". Three computers/people were hosting this. Now, I am no expert on the matter, but it seems to me that this really stinks!! Like looking a gift horse in the mouth... These people, one of whom may have paid for your pro version, are letting others get the pro version for nothing. I reckon that the EULA in the pro version probably says they are forbidden to do that. If I was Limewire, I would do a search myself of any computers uploading the Pro version, and BAN them for life.... "STUFF 'EM!" I'd say. Ii am astounded that you do not seem to be aware of this outrage. I tried to find some way of telling the Limewire people directly but failed so I have some to this forum. Maybe one of the moderators has a better contact with the developers and can tell them? No need to thank me for letting you know. Just my public duty and sense of fairness. |
