You know you people say that there is a problem with Lime Wire and windows and all that crap. Well then why the **** don't you fix it. Yes i know it is not that easy but if you started working on it a week after you found the problem, you could have gotten it fixed but no you are to busy working on the next version. |

AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGG OK.....I had limewire working just fine with my WIN ME. Until I had a HD failure. Come here to reinstall....and I have gotten nothing but headaches. I have tried everything mentioned in the FAQS..and here ..to NO avail, short of buying the pro version. I do not want to pay for the program if it is going to give me these headaches. It is worth it if I KNOW I will not have these problems. BTW I get error 1625 error evey time " DMC...exe program you refer to but do not have it on my system at all. " Ditto..... If there are other options...could they please be explain in simple terms? I am having a brain blow out Type slow so I'll understand TY |

LimeWire Pro installer works better? NOT! Hey guys. As long as you're going to be charging people for this, why not put a little effort into making sure it'll actually work? I've paid for and downloaded the "2.5" installer for the Pro version from the site just today and am having the exact same problem retrieving from isscript.msi as others have reported. The problem, though, seems to be that this www.installengine.com system isn't in the DNS! I've tried several different (known working) DNS'es, and none of them know about this system. Wanna give us a helping hand and throw us the IP address(es) for this name?? |

TRIED When i downloaded http://www.installengine.com/Msiengine20/instmsiw.exe And it says WRONG OS OR OS version for application What can i do to fix this |

isscript.msi install problems ISScript.msi has various problems installing from NTFS partitions if the permissions on the directory containing it aren't what it expects. It sounds odd, but I wasn't able to install it from my desktop, but I copied the file to a Fat32 partition ( too lazy to mess with the permissions issues ) and installed from there. It worked just fine. Link: http://groups.google.com/groups?q=is...ftngp04&rnum=1 The bad news is that even though I got isscript.msi installed OK, the LimeWire installer insisted on attempting to download and install it again anyway, which of course failed. |
