Can Not go back to LW 4.18.8
 

When I follow these directions (Out of Date Installers) it takes me to LW 5.1.1 every time, what am I doing wrong???

Your LimeWire 5 refuses to install or you wish to downgrade to LW 4.18 Your LimeWire 5 refuses to install due to Java 6 error? Or it says there is nothing to install? Or you do not like LW 5 & wish to downgrade? (Users of Windows 95/98 need Java 1.6_5, see Error 1325.earth_Beyond is not a valid short file name.) You can get one of the older installers: LW 4.18 is available. From the Download page, click on the link that says 'Older Versions' on the right side of the page (left side of page for Pro users.) That will take you to the Out of Date installers. (For LW Basic users only Lime Wire » Download Out-Of-Date Installers (click THIS blue link)) _ or _ Older LW Installers. Pro users see sample image in First attachment thumbnail at bottom of page. :)

I've only heard of the 'nothing to install' issue if using Mac OSX. In that case the last sentence before the sample image http://www.gnutellaforums.com/mac-os...0-5-later.html

If the link that Lord didnt work you will have no problems with this, people think the only genuine safe version of limewire to download is on the actual limewire site itself:
