Default The installation buttons disappear??

whenever I try to start the program for the first time it asks me for what language I use, I click next and the buttons disappear. It does go to the next few options if you push enter, till it says "click finish to start limewire", I cant see the button to click, I push enter and the window closes and the program never starts. I go to try the shortcut, and it just starts from the beginning and asks me to select my language again. It also doesnt let me drag the window open to make the window bigger, so ......what do I do now?

Try the advice in this post (below) first.
http://www.gnutellaforums.com/230100-post7.html

If that doesn't help, start from scratch again.

1. Install Java first. You can either update to the latest version here (I have this one & LW's working fine): Java SE Downloads
or try this older version, which has worked well for lots of people: Archive: Download Java 2 Platform Standard Edition (J2SE) 5.0 Update 11
Whichever Java version you use, download the JRE offline installer & remove any other Java versions before installing another one.

2. Download the LW offline installer. When you click to download & a dialog box pops up, cancel it. Now use the option to download the offline installer
Lime Wire » Download LimeWire

I tried cancelling the dialog box and it just closed, it didn't give any offline option. What else can I try to get this to download?

offline version ? Birdy was talking about downloading the OFFLINE installer for each of Java & LW. Offline means you install it offline, not over the internet which itself can cause problems.

Try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Point #3 in Fixes for Limewire (sample image included 2nd last post bottom of page.)
