Hi All,

Love Limewire but not real happy right now.

I keep getting a fatal error when trying to start Limewire.

I have Compleatly removed Java and Limewire, downloaded the offline versions and reinstalled 6 times now.

Also used CCleaner to clean the registry and deleted my prefs folder.

Read through and tried the fixes from Lord Of The Rings and other users but No Love.

I have An IBM T61 With WinXP SP3

Try setting both Java & LW to Run as Administrator. For Java, Step #6 here http://www.gnutellaforums.com/window...tallation.html. If that does not help, change compatibility mode to Windows 2000 or NT & see if that helps. Sometimes compatibility mode does the trick, just need to find the right one.

Have you rebooted computer since making changes with Java & LW?
Could try setting up a test account & see if LW opens from there.

Yeah I have rebooted several times. I will try creating a new user account with admin privileges try that and let you know

Tried the new user and as administrator no change anyone have any other ideas
