Cannot Download LimeWire Pro free trial
 

I downloaded LimeWire to watch movies. Haven't been able to watch much, but incurred horendus virus/trojan nightmare.

I am trying to correct this with MalwareBytes, Spybot S&D, and LavaSoft Ad-Aware. They keep missing trojans after repeated tries.

Now I want to download Pro in hopes AVG will clean it up and prevent further problems.

When I click the links to get the free trial, I get a page that asks for my email address. When I enter it, the page repaints with a "Done, but with errors on page." with URL Start your free trial of LimeWire PRO - Lime Wire

How can I download LimeWire Pro? Any suggestions for cleaning up after initial LimeWire downloads?

Running XP SP2 and IE 7, all with latest updates.

Try a different browser such as FireFox. :)

Whilst we would normally recommend using a separate AV scanner, the AVG does seem to work.
