I keep getting error 1608 and the two fixes don't work on Win2k professional. I even reinstalled the script editor. Eventually I thought let me try jre 1.4.0 but when I uninstalled jre 1.3.1, my whole Limewire install is hosed and won't uninstall now. Is there a manual procedure for removal. Add/remove programs just locks up and I cleaned the registry of instance of "limewire". I tried to find old version 2.2.4 but can't locate it on the web anywhere.
