Cannot Open
 

After download, when I try to open I am getting a window that says the installation package cannot to be opened, contact the application vender to ensure this is a valid windows installer package.

you might wanna redownload the installer. It is probably corrupted by an incomplete download.

try to redownload limewire and run the new installer.

CANT OPEN PROGRAM, TRIED 5 X'S
 

I DOWNLOADED TO D DRIVE AS WELL AS JAVA AS PROMPTED. INSTALLED BUT WILL NOT OPEN. RE DOWNLOADED AND INSTALLED/ UNINSTALLED 5 TIMES. I GIVE UP UNLESS YOU CAN HELP. I AM ON WINDOWS M E, CABLE. EDDIE

Alright, stop yelling. What exactly is the error message you receive? If you are getting none, since you are starting from explorer, open a DOS prompt, go to you LimeWire-directory and enter "limewire.bat".
