Missing file name in the status window Xolox client 1.4 Beta 1 build 455 Windows 2000 Pro SP3 Intel P4 1.8 GHz 1500/128 DSL When a download has been completed and the file copied to the download folder, the message "Download ready:" appears in the status window, but the name of the file is missing from the message. I assume the name is to appear after the colon. |
The name is soppost to appear there; however, I do not know what could be causing the problem. |
There seems to be a string buffer pointer problem (I'm assuming Xolox is written in C++). I just downloaded a file with the name "celtic bagpipes - the irish washerwoman.mp3" and status message was "Download ready: . Started verifying". It seems that the code is looking in the wrong place in memory for the name of the newly downloaded file. Hope this helps. |
That would be a consideration if it was a problem for everyone. Most likely it is a corrupted install file, virus on you system, or somting of theat sort that would cause that type of problem. You could always try uninstalling, redownloading the install file, and the reinstalling. |
XoloX is written in Delphi. |
