This bug is a pisser

This bug is a pisser! It has happened twice to me. Xolox crashed with the following message:

Thank you very much for reporting this error:

Version: '1.5 Beta 1 build 710'
Error message: 'HMODULE: 4194304 Unhandled exception EHandleOsError Exception message:Exception occured in Xotella.FileHasherTimerTimer Exception: EThread Message: Thread creation error: Not enough quota is available to process this command Prev call stack: [0042090C] [0052BCAB] [005287D9] [0043E442] [00421D2E] [0053E8A0] Call stack: [0052882B] [0043E442] [00421D2E] [0053E8A0]'

Here is list of files in the Xolox directory:

downloads file folder
graylist.txt
hostlist.txt
blacklist.txt
cachehosts.txt
ask.ico
uninstall.exe
xolox.exe
templist.exe

The effect of this bug was to wipe out the file that holds all my partial transfers! I had about 5 pages full of files I was trying to transfer and after this bug crashed Xolox *all* the files I was trying to transfer disappeared from the transfer page. As I said this is the second time it has happened, first time was in version 1.41, the second time was under version 1.5 beta 1 build 710.

System is a custom built box running a Pentium 4 2.4Ghz processor, an ASUS P4PE motherboard with 512Mb of DDR SDRAM.

Until this bug is solved could you give me a list of the files that I need to backup in order to recover from this bug when it hits again?

I'll just shut Xolox down once a day, back up these files and restart. When the bug strikes again I'll restore the files and recover my partial transfers.

Of course I could back up the whole directory, but I am leary of overwriting files such as cachehosts or graylist without understanding what these files contain.

Thanks!

BTW, If I can be of any assistance is tracking down the cause please let me know. I've been a sysadmin and programmer for 25 years, can count to 10 and can be trusted not to drag my knuckles on the ground.

710 is out of date

You may want to download the official release version of 1.5. I havn't gotten THAT error, but I and others have been having Xolox close out on us without any message.

Downloaded 1.5 build 733 last night.

However, since this bug has appeared in version 1.41 and version 1.5 beta build 710 I hold out no hope that is has disappeared in version 1.5 build 733 since it was not specifically mentioned in the fixes.

I still want to get the names of the files I need to backup so I can recover when this happens again. (Yes, I believe in Murphy and all his corallaries.)
