I would like to see a virus scanning option where it would use your antivirus software to scan incoming downloads like a download manager(gozilla, dap). Keep up the good work!

not needed for MP3s and AVIs...
but a really good idea! :)

There are virusscanners that check all inbound files like McAfee.
So this will also check all downloaded files automaticly.

Thx. Can I ask when are the files checked with this option? When partials are created or the final file, regular intervall?

I know that if you have Norton AV running it can:

· Check any file that is executed
· Scan all files in a directory when you open it
· Scan the contents of zip files

I personally never have NAV actively scanning my system, and only scan files I get from free hosting places like geocities or yahoo, but it's good software to have running if you're overly paranoid or stupid or download tons of illegal or otherwise questionable stuff.
