![]() We've all had the situation where we are downloading big files and Xolox will drop a part because he noticed that it does not really match up with the other parts you have (the dreaded 99% -> 50% problem). Now, as I understand it, Xolox will check an overlapping section of two parts and if they don't match he will drop the most recently download. But as I also understand Xolox only ever checks this when it has downloaded the second part completely. Now I don't know how large this overlapping section would have to be, but I think Xolox should check for match as soon as he has enough bytes and not after downloading the whole chunck. That would speed up the downsizing immensely... |
