Hi,
Is there any way I can get LimeWire to startup in the background? When I start my iBook I don't always have time to wait on the LimeWire Splash, loading and main screen to finish first. So I'd like to have it starting up in the background instead. |

As soon as I saw your post I opened LW & as soon as I saw the LW icon I hid it. It took 3 seconds altogether. But then, I don't have LW start on system startup. AFAIK there's no way to hide it in the background as soon as it starts. Not unless you want to create an applescript for it. lol

So... Could anyone write such a AppleScript?
And why on earth is this not an option from within LimeWire? |

erm ... not sure ... my knowledge of applescript is fairly basic & haven't used it in a while. I'm not even sure if it's appropriate but my guess is it could be used.
BTW is lauche how you spell launch in Norwegian? |

If LimeWire had this feature, I'd buy LimeWire Pro at once!
So developers, please make this happen!
