This is a problem I've had with other gnutella clients. Every so often, I go to my connections panel and I find I have both an outgoing and an incoming connection to my own IP address.

There's no point in keeping these open. They are just taking up slots in my connection list, potentially keeping me from seeing more of the network.

It seems like it would be trivial to filter your own ip address out of the discovered hosts.
