It sounds as though there's limited sources for the particular files you're after. Awaiting sources means you can't connect to them because they're either not online at present (some people only use LW at certain times such as in the eveningin their part of the workd or on weekends, etc.), or there's too much traffic between you & them to get a connection, or they don't have any upload slots or bandwidth left over for you to connect to, or the peers you're connecting thru just can't seem to connect to them. Perhaps closing LW & reopening or trying at a different time or day. For files that aren't common, you may need to wait some time before the opportunity presents itself to reconnect to them. There's also some gnutella clients out there that tend to have those rarer files but are very difficult to connect to because they connect to more than one network & often don't allow much bandwidth or slots for gnutella. There's also those with lots of popular files but because they are popular their bandwidth or upload slots get taken by others. So you need to be patient. The network is very dynamic it changes all the time. One moment you connect to someone & they show 4 stars. Perhaps 10 mins later you browse them again & they only show one or 2 stars. This can happen due to the above reasons. If there's a source with many files I'm after, I'll make a note of their ip address & attempt to direct connect to them at a later times.
Have you tried to browse them? Sometimes doing a search for that type of file you're after & browsing someone with similar files can get results.
