You might actually have a dud. That happens alot on P2P because these files are being downloaded by the millions every day & they tend to wareout. Ive never had any problems with playing avi files. Every now and then, you do get duds though, not sure whatelse you can do to get them to play outside of compressing & converting it into another format.
Did you install the right codecs before you burned? How did you burn them? With what software?
