BT Voyager 205 seems to be quite commonly quoted by people having problems with firewalls / being behind router. Or more specifically portforwarding.
I had to stop using SoulSeek because I could never get the router (I have the same router) to open the correct port. However, while LW shows as being behind a router / firewall, I have not experienced any real problems downloading both videos and music, albeit sometimes speeds are lower than what they were when I was connected to limewire via ntl / cable modem which connected me properly.
Unfortunately, I have read the relevant instructions about port forwarding and can't make head nor tail of them.

I've never tried portforwarding for LW, as I can do what I need to do with no rela problems, but again the instructions (like for soulseek) say you have to set a static IP address first. Instructions for doing that are on that page.
Another page that is specific to the Voyager 205, and is full of tips etc about how to use it / hack it (hack it in the nicest way, it really should say how to make it work better are at

None of the instructions make any sense to me...
