The effects of MediaDefender is really insignificant unless they setup a lot of servers with even more connections to the GNet. Quite a costly operation if you'd ask me.
Not to mention, the current World Wide Web is diluted with plenty of junk sites - but we all manage to find the good stuff.
I'm really wondering about their true motive though. If they are willing to spend so much money on servers and maintaining high-bandwidth connections, why don't they spend it on a service that helps everyone?
