Here's hoping someone can undo the sabotage caused to my Limewire by the latest Mac updates. I run a g4 powerbook, OS 10.3.9, 1.33GHz. In what now seems a nieve error, I've been regularly accepting all the updates Mac sends out. But the last series has killed my Limewire. After the update, all it would do is bounce in the dock and not load. So I deleted and installed latest version(I think) of LW, 4.12. At least this starts, but in effect, it has still been rendered useless. LW runs incredibly slowly; I can hardly run any applications alongside LW because they will then run slow; and eventually LW will crash after half an hour or so. I thought, as suggested on previous threads, that Quicktime might be the problem, but nope, it would seem I've got version 7.1.2. So, with no great technical expertise, I'm at a loss to what the problem is and how to get LW working again. Your suggestions are my command ...
