I wonder if the same nut case will do a sequel ???
(And a sequel could even have a bit of what them science-headed types call
CONTROL)
Just take a new and 'clean' PC with a freshly formatted hard drive...
Install Windows (2000 Pro, any XP or any Vista)...
Establish your internet connection.
Leave it on and connected for 6 days.
No cheating now !!!
You must not install anything else. (But, of course, for security, <cough> <cough> you may allow any and all Microsoft auto updates.)
I should imagine that having LimeWire running actually reduced the possible full total of viruses 'planted' due simply to the fact that LimeWire would have been consuming enough bandwidth to limit access to some of the 'bad guys' !
Without a clear understanding of precisely what software was installed, what security and configuration settings were in place and what the user account status was...
The example you refer to is bullshˇt.
It ain't science.
Life sure can be confusing when such forces try to confuse, eh ?
