I believe there are some limits as to the number of files, but I cannot recall any details right now !
But, there is no real benefit, and quite a lot against, sharing very large numbers of files. Aside from the amount of bandwidth consumed for returns
from you re: your shared files, there will also be a huge amount of bandwidth consumed through the network as people are requesting files from you that they will probably never be able to download from you because they will have a very much reduced chance of getting an upload slot from you... Because you are so busy sharing so much, right ?
Far better to share that which is either 'rare' or available but with very few sources. Not a lot of point in sharing something that already is available from 100 or more other sources, hmmm ?
Of course, if you have many things that are rare or that you simply really wish to share, just have a number of Shared Files Folders and 'rotate' through them every week or preferably after a longer time... This also helps to more rapidly increase the number of sources for a given file and that means the overall content available on the network is increased...
