AVG can't run??

I thot I was downloading Itunes when it told me to download LimeWire Pro. I was confused

. To add to my confusion, nothing I tried to download will complete due to an error message that states, "AVG anti-virus failed to load" & it stalls the download. What happen to my Itunes?? Am I stupid??
