 well..if you expect some help from one of the LimeWire gurus, a little bit of information might be a tad helpful.... dunno about anyone else, but I stopped using my crystal ball a long time ago!

| Uninstall your present version of LW, remove the LW preferences folder, then install this version http://www.gnutellaforums.com/gettin...e-edition.html & see if it connects ok. To save your previous incomplete downloads & shares, save the Downloads.dat & library5.dat files. Possibly limewire.props to save some other settings. How to delete LW preferences (describes how to delete the folder, following post describes how to save the downloads.dat file, this can also apply to the library5.dat & props files.) |
